Apply for as many scholarships as you can. For local and state awards, see ScholarshipQuest at EducationQuest.org and check with your high school counseling office or college financial aid office. Ask your college about college-based and major-based scholarships.
Don't think scholarships are just for high school seniors. Check out awards for current college students and adult learners.
Don't EVER pay for scholarship or financial aid services! Talk to your school counselor, your college financial aid office or EducationQuest about the many free resources that are available.

KnowHow2GO materials for 8th-10th graders
EducationQuest is proud to sponsor the KnowHow2GONebraska campaign to help your 8th – 10th grade clients learn the four steps needed to make college a reality.
1. Be a pain – in a good way. Find an adult who will help you with college planning.
2. Push yourself. Take rigorous coursework in high school and get involved in extracurricular
activities.
3. Find the right fit. Discover schools that match your career interests and skills.
4. Put your hands on some cash. Apply for scholarships and financial aid.
KnowHow2GO materials include:
Exploring College Newsletter – walks students and parents through the four KnowHow2GO steps.
"nada, zip, zilch" bookmarks – students can use this bookmark to encourage an adult to help them prepare for college.
